Events

Events form a core part of the membership offer at the Chartered College of Teaching. They are designed to support our members in their professional development and facilitate dialogue between research, policy and practice.

We are dedicated to promoting and enhancing teacher professionalism through our events, which aim to support teachers and educators in their professional growth.

Our events portfolio includes both face-to-face and webinar formats, ensuring that all members can participate in and benefit from CPD and professional dialogue.

Face-to-face events

Our face-to-face events provide opportunities to celebrate the teaching profession and to engage in rich professional dialogue. Regular face-to-face events include our Annual Lecture and the Chartered Teacher Graduation Ceremony. These events include exclusive talks from keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions and networking opportunities. The Chartered College events portfolio fosters a sense of community and professional growth among members. We aim to provide a platform to celebrate achievements and contributions to the education sector, as well as the opportunity to share best practice and explore the latest innovations in education.

Online events

At the Chartered College of Teaching, we offer a variety of online events, many of which are recorded and uploaded to our Video Learning Hub or used as part of our Bitesize CPD units. Online events are largely split into ‘learning’ events where members can hear about the latest research in the field and discuss findings with each other, and ‘advocacy’ events, where members and Fellows can get together to discuss the latest policy issues and influence thinking at the policy level. Our online events portfolio also signposts members to the fantastic work that external organisations offer.
